Health and Wellness Coach
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Diabetes Lifestyle Coach and Account Manager who is passionate about transforming population health through the use of incentaHEALTH solutions. You are customer-service oriented and able to speak with both the individual members in our wellness programs, and clients’ leadership teams alike. You have a passion for wellness and skills that include strong written and oral communication abilities. You have an affinity for technology-based programs. You will be a part of the Customer Success Management team and support to business development, client management, and service delivery teams. You have impeccable relational skills and can create win/win environments with your team and your clients. You are creative and willing to roll up your sleeves, able to create content that all our clients and channels benefit. You are comfortable in a fast-changing environment, excited about growth opportunities, and love the idea of helping to define best practices for a fast-growing team. You are certified as a Diabetes Lifestyle Coach (or willing to get certified) and are eager to shepherd behavior change for our members. This role is responsible for customer support through phone and email M-F, 8-5 p.m., with supplemental projects assigned as needed to execute the support of business development, client management, and service delivery. The role requires in-office days (located in the Denver Tech Center) 2 days a week. Salary for this position is $50,000 and comes with benefits such as 100% paid health insurance.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Serve as a primary health and wellness contact for participants of incentaHEALTH programs
• Responsible for supporting incentaHEALTH’s strategic clients and partners to success • Ability to support accounts efficiently and document all activities
• Lead Diabetes Prevention Courses through distance-learning delivery
• Lead and develop weekly wellness chats for members
• Tech savvy acumen and drive • Passion for health and digital health solutions
• Supports multiple implementation projects in parallel
• Manages test accounts for various clients and works with tech team to help triage tech fixes
• Assist in client meetings by pulling data reports or historical accounts on client
• Working in timely fashion to address participant needs
• Tests and troubleshoots product software and deployments
• Provide training to customers and end users during and after implementation
• Motivational Interviewing Trained (Training Provided)
• Affinity for content creation and improving processes (we have an in-house video studio!)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Requirements:
• Eager, entrepreneurial attitude with a knack for problem solving
• Driven individual with thorough follow through
• Tech savvy
• 4 year degree in health-related related field (Exercise physiology, nutrition, behavioral science, health promotion, etc.)
• Passion for health and wellness
• Familiarity with Healthy Eating and Active Living (HEAL) principles
• Technical proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet technologies (web browsers, email, SMS, mobile apps, etc.)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
Nice To Have:
• Certified Diabetes Lifestyle Coach
• ACSM, NASM, ACE, or other personal training certification
• Motivational Interviewing techniques/experience
• Understanding of behavior change principles
• Spanish language (reading, writing, speaking); translation experience
• Data analytics experience (Tableau, Excel, etc
